Charles Bartley

Charles graduated from Brent Street School of Performing Arts in 2008. He then successfully auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance Season 2 and later went on to become 2009’s Runner-Up and favourite male dancer for the season.

Although a young performer Charles is well seasoned with his credits including the Fame The Musical, SYTYCD National Tour ’09, NYE ’09 Lord Mayors Ball, The Great Gatsby, Austereo/Southern Cross Launch, and being a regular dancer on the 2011 season of X Factor. Additionally he has had the privilege of performing with Dein Perry’s Tap Dogs for VirginBlue 10th Anniversary Celebrations and NRL Dally M Awards 2010.

His most recent onstage appearance’s were at the 2012 Sydney Festival’s recreation of the Trocadero in January and as a lead dance role in the Gold Coast Arts Centre’s original dance production ‘Blood, Sweat & Dance’, choreographed and directed by Ben Veitch. Charles’ TV credits include the Commonwelath Bank, MEGT, Woman’s Day and Eurovision commercials. He feels privileged to have performed in order to help raise funds for the Westmeads Children’s Hospital in both their Gold Dinner and Hoyts ‘UP’ Premiere.

As well as this Charles has had the chance to work with such Australian artists as Paulini, Zoe Badwi, Jessica Mauboy, Tim-o-matic and David Campbell as well as international acts including J. Williams, Wynter Gordon, David Guetta and Kelly Rowland.
